![]() Complete eligible service within a 12-month period.United States citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States (i.e., green card holder).In order to earn a GCAC scholarship, you must earn a minimum of the Bronze Level President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). If you have already completed many of the required service hours AND you already have a current passport in hand, you may apply up to 60 DAYS prior to the start date of your program.It is recommended that you start the travel and scholarship applications AND your service hours no less than 90 DAYS prior to the start date of your program.Enroll in Global Service Learning and Citizenship: GST 140-440 (for three hours of college credit or audit) at Bethel University (see section below).The final 40 hours of service will be completed with our international nonprofit partners (see section below). Earn 60/100 hours required to earn the Bronze President’s Volunteer Service Award (minimum).Complete the GCAC Scholarship Application (see button above).After submitting the travel application, follow the steps below to apply for a GCAC Scholarship. Travel applications require a 10% program deposit and proof of submission of current passport and/or screenshot of passport application. Student scholarship applicants must complete the travel application (click link and scroll down to select the program you wish to attend and apply) and items 1, 2, and 3 (BELOW) prior to their departure date.
